1/4t vanilla extract
Pinch of nutmeg
J Friend & Co. honey and fruit to serve
- Whisk the eggs, milk, cinnamon, vanilla and nutmeg together in a bowl.
- Dip each crumpet into the mixture, leaving for 1 minute each side to soak.
- Melt the butter in a fry pan over a medium heat. Fry the crumpets until golden each side.
- Serve with a generous amount of honey and some seasonal fruit.
