Ingredients
1kg chicken drumsticks
1/2c honey
1/4c soy sauce
2T orange juice
1T Dijon mustard
2t garlic, minced
2t ginger, grated
Method
- Mix the marinade ingredients together then pour into a large Ziploc bag with the drumsticks. Remove as much air as possible before sealing. Refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight. Preheat the oven to 200˚C and line a rimmed baking dish.
- Place the chicken drumsticks in the dish with space in between each and reserve 1/4c of the marinade before pouring the rest in.
- Bake for 20 minutes then turn the drumsticks, baste them with the leftover marinade and bake for another 20 minutes.
- Baste with the caramelized marinade to finish.
